Hooker Furnishings has named Jessica Duce, the designer and founder of J Duce Design and co-founder of the Vacation Rental Design Summit, as a brand ambassador, tasked with bringing the company’s design stories to life, beginning with its new Margaritaville collection.
Known for her spaces that celebrate relaxation, connection and escape, Duce will help Hooker engage retailers, designers and consumers through lifestyle-driven design that blends relaxed yet elegance and the spirit of escape, the company said. The partnership extends into 2026.
“For over a decade, I’ve dedicated myself to designing interiors that offer a true sense of escape,” Duce said. “My work creating luxury retreats has expanded my understanding of how furniture influences experiences — turning everyday spaces into destinations for relaxation and inspiration. I’m eager to bring that perspective to Hooker, starting with the iconic Margaritaville collection and extending through its entire portfolio to help retailers and designers craft spaces where comfort, style and experience blend seamlessly.”
“With a background that merges design and hospitality, Jessica offers unique insights into how furnishings can create memorable experiences,” said Johne Albanese, chief marketing officer at Hooker Furnishings. “As a designer of short-term rental properties, she has helped shape how today’s travelers enjoy leisure living through thoughtful interior design. That perspective makes her a natural fit as our brand ambassador.”
Duce will debut her new role at High Point Market with a panel titled “Designing for Escape: at Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. in Hooker’s Showplace showroom. She will be joined by Linda Holt, an interior designer and professional photographer. After the session, Duce will personally guide attendees through Hooker Furnishings’ newly transformed Margaritaville space, highlighting designs that are especially well-suited for short-term rental properties.
